Etruria Canals Festival
This years popular Etruria Canals Festival will take place on the weekend of the 30th and 31st May with a theme of ‘World of Gardens’ to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Etruria Gardens Festival. As well as a display of historic and interesting canal boats moored along the Caldon Canal close to Etruria Junction, there will be craft demonstrations and stalls, puppetery and performance, entertainment and music, street food and bar, children’s games and a working forge. Entrance to the festival is free.
The Etruria Industrial Musuem, with tearoom, toilets and activities in the lower part of the visitor centre. will be open and it is hoped that, after repairs to the 1903 boiler, the mill will be in steam from, 1.00pm to 4.30pm on both days. Entrance to see the mill £5.00 per adult, under 16s free when with a paying adult.
Parking is provided at Stoke on Trent College with a shuttle bus to the site provided.
