SUMMARY:Vintage Stationary Engine Rally and Mill in Steam
DESCRIPTION:A rally of Vintage Stationary Engines and Shirley’s 1857 Potters’ Mill which ground bone, flint, Cornish stone and other materials for the pottery industry, in steam and operating. The museum and visitor centre open from 10.30am with the mill running from 1.00pm until 4.30pm.\nThis year is the 50th Anniversary of the Reopening of the Caldon Canal. A film on its history, restoration and reopening will be showing in the Etruria Junction Check Office\nThere will be a Craft and Art Tabletop sale in the Warehouse and blacksmith demonstrations and metal artwork sale in the Forge.\nTake and interesting walk along the canal and have light refreshments in the tea room.\nEntrance to the mill free in support of Heritage Open Days. Guided tours (subject to availability) £10.00 per adult. Under 16s free when accompanied by a paying adult.\n
